Spitfire Fighter Plane V for Victory silver coin fundraising badge

A very unusual original Second World War period aircraft badge, skillfully made from a silver coin in the form of a 'Royal Air Force fighter plane' mounted on a 'V' shape piece of salvaged windscreen perspex and sold to raise funds. Very good condition, with an applied brass safety pin fitting with traces of solder.
