National Savings Heart Shape 20 Years Service Badge

A scarce original pre 1953 period 'National Savings silver plated badge' in the form of a George VI crowned heart inlaid with blue enamel and suspended from a red enamel bar inscribed '20 YEARS SERVICE'; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'J.R.Gaunt London'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings pin a replacement, no defects to the enamel.
Height approx 42mm.
