Irish General Service Medal 1917-21 with COMRAC bar
A scarce original instituted circa 1941 period Eire bronze General Service Celtic designed unnamed medal awarded for those who took part in the struggle for independance between the Easter of 1916 to ratification of the treaty which ensured independance from Britain and the establishment of the Irish Free State in 1921. The COMRAC clasp was awarded to those who took an active part in the military operations. Very good condition, retaining original black and tan coloured silk ribbon and ornate bronze pin fittings and bar.
