Girl Guides Tawny Owl assistant leader yellow translucent enamel badge

A scarce original circa pre 1939 period 'Girl Guides Tawny Owl Assistant badge'; gilt brass example inlaid with yellowy orange translucent enamel, depicting a beautifully feathered wise owl, the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Collins London' 'Regd No 688485' a registered, design and patent date of 1922. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no stress marks or damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright.
