A scarce original Second World War circa 1940's period 'Dowty Equipment Limited War Service badge'; chromiun plate in the form of a red, white and blue winged roundel, the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Thomas Fattorini Ltd Regent St Birmingham' and official issue number '822'. Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole fitting, no stress marks or damage to the enamel, an excellent example.
Height approx 20mm.
In 1940 the name of the company changed to Dowty Equipment Ltd.
