British Railways Eastern Region Inspector cap badge

A scarce ORIGINAL 1950 to 1956 issue 'British Railways Eastern Region cap badge'; gilt brass example depicting a lion astride a wheel, the centre dark blue colour enamel bar inscribed 'INSPECTOR'. Very good condition, complete with original loop fittings and split pin, no damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright, an excellent example.
Height approx 48mm.
