Bembridge Chalet Hotel Isle of Wight holiday camp badge

A very scarce original circa 1950's period 'Bembridge Chalet Hotel holiday camp pin badge'; a well designed deco example with vivid coloured enamels, depicting a perfect holiday atmosphere. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel. Diameter 22mm.
Opened in circa 1935 until the war came when it was taken over by Admiralty and used as a Naval Base known as 'HMS Blazer' at first by the Royal Marines for training in cliff climbing. After the war the site resumed as a holiday camp and was bought out eventually by Warner's.
