Womens Royal Naval Service association of WRENS badge Toye Kenning & Spencer
A good circa late 20th century period 'Association of WRENS yellow chromium plated badge' inlaid with blue and white enamel; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Toye Kenning & Spencer Ltd'. Very good condition, complete with orignal pin fittings and safety roller catch, no damage to the enamel.
Height 27mm.
The Association of Wrens was formed in 1920 by a group of ex-wrens to maintain the friendships formed in the 'Women's Royal Naval Service' and to keep the spirit of the Service alive.
