A scarce original early 20th century period political party lapel badge; gilt blue enamel circlet bearing 'For King And Country A.C.C' title surround the central oval depicting a silhouette of a seated Britannia flanked by an enamel patriotic 'Royal Standard' and 'Union Flag'. Very good condition, complete with original style round lapel fitting, gilt finish remain bright, no stress marks or damage to the enamel, an excellent example. Diameter 24mm.
The Association of Conservative Clubs was formed in 1894 and its objects was to assist and encourage the formation of Club to support the principles and aims of The Conservative Party.
