WW1 Zeppelin L33 German airship badge crashed 24/9/16 Little Wigborough Essex

A scarce original First World War period piece of art handcrafted from salvaged aluminium from the Zeppelin L33 in the form of the airship with additional pair of propellers. Good condition, complete with brass pin bar, minor corrosion to front section.
Width approx 41mm.
The German Zeppelin L33 was brought down on the 24th September 1916 in Little Wigborough, Essex.
