A scarce original group of British Red Cross Society medals spanning over 50 years service comprising:
Voluntary Medical Service with four clasps named Mrs. SCOTT PLUMMER.
WW1 British Red Cross War Service unusually named 'M.G. SCOTT PLUMMER'.
British Red Cross Society President badge' mounted on a maroon watered silk ribbon with three star denoting rank and suspended from a white enamel Selkirkshire (Scotland) bar unnamed as issued.
A pre 1953 period 'British Red Cross Society gilt and enamel badge for '10 Years Service' named '4596 M.G. SCOTT- PLUMMER'.
BRITISH RED CROSS SOCIETY headed letter dated July 1949 relating to the Voluntary Medical Service Medal concerning the new replacement clasps, with return address to: County Director Co Scottish Headquarters, 204 Bath Street, Glasgow.
Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no stress marks or damage to the enamel.
