Boer War 'Relief of Ladysmith' Union Flag artwork coin

A most unusual piece of one off brass artwork, possibly made by a Boer War POW in the form of a Flag Pole; one side engraved with a Union Jack the other inscribed 'LADYSMITH RELIEVED BY GEN BULLER AND DUNDONALD FEB 28 1900', the pole fixed in place by a 1894 2 Shilling coin pressed into a convex shape stand.
