WW1 National Reserve Staffordshire home front badge

A scarce original First World War period 'National Reserve Staffordshire badge'; gilt diamond blue enamel title, crowned 'Stafford Knot' to voided centre, the reverse with maker's details 'J.R.Gaunt London' and official issue number '257'. Good condition, complete with original buttonhole fitting, the enamel with minor manufacturers firing flaw lower right, gilt finish remains bright.
