British Red Cross Society VAD Trained Nurse technical medal named

A scarce original pre 1950's possibly Second World War period 'British Red Cross Society technical badge' with 'Trained Nurse' bar, the reverse impressed with official issue number '1995' and inscribed to the recipient 'B.A.DAWSON'. Very good clean condition, complete with original silk ribbon, title bar and gilt buckle suspension with pin fittings, no damage to the enamel.
Overall Length 86mm.
The British Red Cross Society Technical badges were instituted in 1914 and were eligible to members of the Voluntary Aid Detachments with professional qualifications, they were discontinued in the mid 1960's.
