A good original early pre 1958 'Warners Holiday Camp Dovercourt Bay gilt and enamel badge', the reverse impressed with maker's details 'H.W.Miller Ltd Branston St B'Ham 18' a backmark used between 1935 and 1958. Excellent condition, complete with original coiled pin fitting and hook catch, no stress marks or damage to enamel, gilt finish remains bright.

'Warners Dovercourt Bay Holiday Camp, Essex' opened circa 1937, the camp was transformed into a military base during war and for several years during the 1980s used for outdoor scenes for the BBC comedy show Hi-de-Hi!
