City of Edinburgh Scotland Silver Peace Medal 1919 by Joseph Moore Birmingham

A rare original end of First World War fine quality heavy duty silver Scottish peace medal' the obverse depicting a warrior with sword, angel with peace dove and child with olive branch; the reverse inscribed 'To Commemorate The Conclusion Of The Great War 1919' the centre bearing the Coat of Arms of the City of Edinburgh Scotland and inscribed 'SIR JOHN LORNE MACLEOD LORD PROVOST' impressed 'STERLING' and with maker's details 'J.M' (J E Moore & Frank Moore trading as Joseph Moore, Petsford Street, Birmingham). Very good condition, complete with ribbon and pin.
