GQ Parachutist Gregory & Quilter Company qualification badge RAF Free French

A scarce original early pattern 'Gregory & Quilter Parachute Company silver plated winged parachute canopy GQ badge' depicting a parachutist, the slim wings inlaid with bright red enamelling, the reverse impressed 'G.Q. Parachutist'. Very good condition, complete with original tube joint pin fitting and flat rolled catch, no damage to the enamel.

Height 17mm.
The 'GQ Parachutist badge' was given by the 'Gregory & Quilter Company' to anyone who had completed parachute training using their parachutes.
