GQ Parachutist Gregory & Quilter Company qualification badge RAF Free French

A scarce original early pattern 'Gregory & Quilter Parachute Company silver plated winged parachute canopy GQ badge' depicting a parachutist, the slightly smaller slim wings inlaid with orangey red enamelling, the reverse impressed 'G.Q. Parachutist'. Very good condition, complete with original tube joint pin fitting and narrow flat hooked catch, no damage to the enamel.

The 'GQ Parachutist badge' was given by the 'Gregory & Quilter Company' to anyone who had completed parachute training using their parachutes.
