Brooklands Automobile Racing Club BARC 1920 rare set of cased badges

A rare antique set of '1920 Brooklands Automobile Racing Club gilt and enamel membership badges, the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Dobson & Sons 110 New Bond St. W.' and all with matching official issue numbers 'No 1155'. Very good condition, complete with original cord and pin fittings, no damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright and housed in original presentation card box with relevant details, this now with age wear and split corners.
With the outbreak of World War 1 Brooklands was requisitioned by the War Office and motor racing ceased. It resumed again in 1920.
