Royal Canadian Air Force RCAF Ground Observer Corps pin badge

A good original circa 1950's cold war period 'RCAF Ground Observer Corps badge'; lightweight gilt metal example in the form of a spread eagle surmounting an oval title inlaid with hand painted enamel; the reverse impressed with British maker's details 'B.M.Co.' (Birmingham Medal Co). Very good condition, complete with original single screw post and nut.
Height approx 23mm.
The Ground Observer Corps was a civilian organization within the Royal Canadian Air Force formed in October 1950 to help identify intruder aircraft.
