West Hartlepools commemoration of peace 1919 badge

A scarce original example of a 'West Hartlepools Commemoration of Peace 1919' end of war gilt and badge', depicting a peace dove, a battleship and an airship above the enamelled 'West Hartlepool's coat of arms' with additional scroll 'FOR THY PROTECTION WE THANK THEE'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright.
