Typographical Association printers trade union badge 1849 to 1964
A good original circa 1960's period 'Typographical Association pin badge;' gilt brass, red, white and blue enamel example, stylised intertwined 'TA' letters, 'Est.1849' scroll above, latin motto 'Ars Artium Servatrix' (the art of preserving the arts) ribbon scroll across the centre; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'F&S B'HAM' (Fattorini & Sons Birmingham) a format used between c.1960 and 1962 . Very good condition, complete with original pin fitting, no damage to the enamel.
