WW2 Trench Art 1943 threepence coin photo frame pin badge
A good one off original Second World War period interesting piece of artefact commonly known as trench art, in the form of a 1943 King George VI twelve-sided brass thruppenny bit coin, each side drilled and fitted with a chain and attached to a pin bar; the central three headed thrift plant removed and replaced by a photograph of a small child. Height 37mm.
Trench art items were made by soldiers, prisoners of war and civilians often to raise funds for the war effort..
