WW2 Highland Light Infantry HLI Scottish Glengarry cap badge

A good original Second World War period 'Highland Light Infantry cap badge'; die-stamped white metal diamond-cut 'Star of the Order of the Thistle', King's Crown to top point, French bugle horn with 'HLI' monogram to centre 'ASSAYE' battle honour scroll below over Indian Elephant. Very good nicely toned condition, the reverse complete with original two loop fittings and pin.
