WW1 Royal Fusiliers Private Joseph B Hamer B290324 silver war badge

A good original First World War period 'Silver War Badge official issue number 'B290324'; unmarked silver circlet inscribed 'For King And Empire Services Rendered' bearing crowned 'GRI' Imperial Cypher to voided centre. Good condition, complete with pin fitting HOOK now detached but present.

Silver War Badge B290324 was awarded to 74138 Private Joseph B Hamer Royal Fusiliers. He is noted as serving with the Training Reserve London District. He enlisted on the 4th April 1917 and was discharged with the award of this badge on the 3rd September 1918. He did not serve overseas and this is his only WW1 entitlement.
