A scarce original circa post 1950's period 'Cleaver Hospital assistant nurse pin badge'; fine qiuality silver example bearing green enamel title surround, the centre depicting a 'Cross of Lorraine and Dragon' symbolising the fight against tuberculosis, on white enamel ground; the reverse impressed with London silver hallmarks for 1958 and maker's details 'JP' (John Pinches Ltd). Good condition, complete with original pin fittings, a number of enamel defects to rim. Price reflects.
