Southmead Hospital Bristol nurses pin badge

A scarce original Second World War period nurses pin badge from the 'Southmead Hospital Bristol'; large silver plated 'Maltese Cross' inlaid with light blue enamel, title circlet and centre bearing 'Coat of Arms of the Bristol City Council' on dark blue enamel ground; the reverse inscribed 'NURSE C.O.B.Evans 1944 - 47'. Good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel, minor service wear to silver plating to reverse.
