A very scarce original circa 1940 to 1942 wartime period period 'Royal Ordnance Factory 5 munition factory workers hand painted brass personalised lapel badge, bearing the 'Board of Ordnance' shield to the centre; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'T.L.M. Ltd B'Ham' (Thomas Lyster Mott Vyse Street, Birmingham) and official issue number '3400'. Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole lapel fitting.
