A good original Second World War period 'W.V.S Civil Defence pin badge'; chromium plated example with red vitreous enamel inlay; the reverse with maker's details 'Butler Birmingham'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel and contained in a period cardboard box.
