WW2 Darwen & Mostyn Iron Co Ltd National Service badge North Wales Colliery

A rare original Second World War interesting piece of history in the form of the 'Darwen and Mostyn Iron Co Ltd National Service identification badge'; chromium plated white enamel title surround with 'NATIONAL SERVICE' band below, the centre displaying the prominent Welsh landmark of the companies two blast furnaces in dark blue on yellow skyline; the reverse with maker's details 'Thomas Fattorini Ltd Regent St. Birmingham' and impressed with official low issue number '87'. Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole lapel fitting, no damage to the enamel.
