BOAC Airline 25 Years Service 1973 gold pin badge

A scarce original circa 1970's fine quality 'British Overseas Airways Corporation long service gold badge'; oak leaf wreath, the top displaced by an Astral Crown', the central shield inlaid with pale blue enamel and with the Roman numerals 'XXV'; the reverse impressed with Birmingham 9 carat gold hallmarks for 1973 and maker's details 'M.P'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings with safety roller catch in good working order, no defects to the enamel.
