Medal commemorating the Coronation of Elizabeth II 1953 by Pinches London
A scarce original heavy duty gilt bronze medal commemorating the Coronation of Elizabeth II 1953' the reverse depicting the Queen crowned, in coronation robes, holding sceptre and orb, seated in the stern of an antique vessel, a single sail set, three robed figures standing blowing trumpets with the legend 'MAY ITS COVRSE OF PROSPEROVS' and impressed PINCHES LONDON'. Very good condition, complete with red, white and blue silk ribbon, gilt suspension bar, the top displaced by an unusual 'Kings Crown' over laurel spray.
