WW2 Liverpool ARP Instructor air raid precautions badge
A scarce original Second World War period 'Liverpool Liverpool ARP Instructor air raid precautions officially numbered badge; small chromium plated oblong example, inlaid with red, white and blue enamel, depicting the Liver Bird (symbol of the City of Liverpool); the reverse impressed 'CERTEINO', official issue number '64' and 'Regd. No. 837771' a Registration, Design and Patent for the year 1940. Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole fittings, no chips to the enamel, minimal service wear.
