WW1 BRCS & Order of St John VAD MIDDLESEX General Service cloth badge

A scarce original First World War period 'Voluntary Aid Detachment MIDDLESEX VAD General Service' large circular embroidered felt cloth badge, worn by a member of the joint War Organisation of the 'British Red Cross Society and Order of St John'. Generally very good condition, complete with black hessian backing, colour remains bright, edge with nicks where it has been removed from uniform.
