Civil Defence Instructor badge post 1953

A good original cold war period 'Civil Defence Instructor silver plated badge' blue enamel oval the top displaced by a EIIR Crown, the reverse impressed with maker's details 'J.R.Gaunt London'. Very good clean condition, complete with original buttonhole fitting, no damage to the enamel.
Height 34mm.
Civil Defence organisations were disbanded In 1968.
