The Salvation Army Naval Military & Air Force League pin badge

A scarce original pre 1947 period 'Salvation Army Naval Military & Air Force League pin badge'; gilt metal highly coloured enamelled example, depicting an RAF eagle, above a blue enamel anchor, flanked by a Royal Navy White Ensign and Union Jack Flag. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, enamel intact, gilt finish remains bright.
Height 32mm.
During the Second World War the Salvation Army joined Council of Voluntary Welfare Workers, providing relief to civilians and armed forces in Britain and abroad. In 1947 'The Salvation Army Naval Military & Air Force League' name was changed to the 'Red Shield Services League'.
