British Red Cross Society Blood Transfusion 30th Service clasp medal

A scarce original pre 1946 period 'British Red Cross Society blood transfusion service bronzed medal, the reverse with maker's details 'J.R.Gaunt London' and impressed in relief 'Awarded To' and engraved '2318 Mrs. E. Phillips A.E. Roberts' 'For 10 Transfusions'. Very good condition, complete with original silk ribbon with suspension pin bar and with scarce additional '30TH SERVICE clasp.
Overall Height approx 75mm.
The British Red Cross Society Blood Transfusion Service badge was Instituted in 1931 and Discontinued in 1946.
