WW1 Highland Cyclist Battalion TF lapel badge

A rare original post 1908 circa First World War period 'Highland Cyclist Battalion Territorial Force silver plated lapel badge' in the form of a cycle wheel, the centre with an applied Star of the Order of the Thistle, with St.Andrews and his cross to the central oval; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'J.R.Gaunt London'. Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole lapel fitting, no damage to the enamel, minimal service wear to silvered finish.
