Birmingham Liberal Unionist Association badge 1886 to 1912

A scarce original circa 1886 to 1912 period 'Birmingham Liberal Unionist Association lapel badge in the form of a large gilt brass King Edward VII Crowned light blue enamel title circlet, the recessed centre depicting in relief the united emblems of England, Scotland and Ireland, a Rose, Thistle and Shamrock; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'H.JENKINS & SONS BIRMm' and 'Rd 134125' a registration, design and patent date of 1888.Very good condition, complete with original early style slider lapel fitting, enamel with minor service wear and flaws.
