A rare original circa 1930's 'On Ne Passe Pas Ligne Maginot identity bracelet', silver plated embossed badge depicting the Fort with Machine Gun at the ready in relief; the reverse engraved with British name and address 'Mrs.NASH 12, BECKFORD ROAD, EAST CROYDON, SURREY'. Good condition, complete with original steel chain, CLASP now absent, wear to silver plating.
Badge width 32mm.
The Maginot Line named after the French Minister of War Andre Maginot fortifications were built from 1928 to 1940 by the French government for the protection of French borders.
