WW2 Royal Observer Corps qualification lapel badge

A scarce original post 1941 unusual SMALL silver plated badge with pale blue enamel circlet 'Forewarned is Forearmed' and 'Royal Observer Corps', surmounted by a King's Crown, the centre depicting an Elizabethan coastwatcher holding a flaming torch and scanning the horizon; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'B'HAM MEDAL & BADGE Co LTD ALBION ST. BIRMINGHAM'. Good condition, complete with original buttonhole fitting, small nick right to the enamel, minor wear.
