WW2 Doncaster Special Constabulary police badge Yorkshire

A scarce original circa Second World War period 'Doncaster Borough Special Constabulary police badge'; large chromium plated blue enamel title strap, the voided centre with red enamel shield bearing a white Port between two Towers, from the Doncater Coat of Arms, with impressed white rose of Yorkshire to tip of strap; the reverse impressed with official low issue number '38' and maker's details 'Thomas Fattorini Ltd Regent St Birmingham'. Good condition, complete with original buttonhole fitting, no damage to the enamel, minor wear to chromium plated finish. Price reflects.
