A rare original First World War period possibly Medical Branch 'Mercantile Fleet Auxiliary petty officer cap badge'; gilt metal fouled anchor within red silk padded circlet with gold wire 'M.F.A' letters, surmounted by a padded velvet King's Crown, the reverse with black herringbone pattern cotton lining. Good condition.
