Australind S.S. Co. Ltd Steam Shipping Line Company officers cap badge

A scarce original circa 1920's period 'Australind Steam Shipping Co. Ltd officer's cap badge'; gilt embroidered laurel leaf wreath on black felt backing, the centre displaying an early pattern gilt and blue enamel house flag with yellow cross and black 'Swan' facing right. Very good condition, no damage to the enamel, gilt wreath remains bright. An excellent example.
Height approx 52mm.
