Womens Land Army and Timber Corps veterans badge with case

A scarce original 'Women's Land Army and Timber Corps Veterans badge, officially awarded by the 'Government Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs' from 6 December 2007, to those who served during the First or Second World Wars. Crowned gilt metal laurel wreath, bearing central wheatsheaf on a field of white enamel within a title circlet inlaid with green 'Women's Land Army and Timber Corps', the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Firmin'. Complete with original velvet lined, green leather gold tooled presentation case with maker's details to the lid. Very good condition.
