Robertsons Golly bagpiper white waistcoat advertising badge F&S

A good original circa 1950's period 'Robertson's Bagpiper Golly promotional badge', with small feet wearing a white waistcoat, blue coat and displaying the advertising slogan 'Golden Shred' on bagpipe under golden translucent enamel, the reverse impressed in relief with maker's details 'F&S B'HAM' (Fattorini & Sons, Birmingham). Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no stress marks or damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright, an excellent example mounted on display card, retaining some of its original bloom.
