WW2 Merchant Navy silver and enamel pin badge

A scarce original Second World War period very impressive fine quality 'Merchant Navy pin badge', large rope edged white enamel crowned oval, the centre bearing 'MN' on blue enamel ground; the reverse impressed 'STERLING'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel, an excellent example.
