British Fascists 2nd pattern For King And Country membership badge

A very scarce ORIGINAL circa 1924 'British Fascists political supporters badge'; silver plated example inlaid with black enamelling, depicting the early pattern rose without a cross; the reverse with maker's details 'Gaunt London' and impressed with official low issue number '418' and in relief 'Registration Applied For'. Very good condition, complete with correct horizontal axle pin fittings for this pattern badge, no damage to the enamel, silver plating remains bright, minor wear to reverse.
Diameter 25mm.

The 'British Fascists' were founded in 1923 by 'Rotha Lintorn-Orman' and dissolved in 1934.
