WW1 Baptist Tabernacle Gillingham Soldiers Rest Room Committee badge

A scarce original First World War period 'Gillingham Kent Baptist Tabernacle Soldiers Rest Room Committee pin badge'; large gilt multi pointed star, blue enamel title circlet, red ribbon scroll to centre on seeded ground. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no stress marks or damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright.
Diameter approx 33mm.

The 'Rest Room' is believed to have been established in 1914 in the Sunday School of Gillingham Baptist Tabernacle.
