St Christopher guilloche enamel motor car dashboard plaque badge

A rare original fine quality cira 1920's period nickel plated oval dashboard badge plaque, from a prestigious French motor car, the central disc depicting Saint Christopher behind a dark orange guilloche translucent enamel finish, with very stylish black and green surround incoporating fixing rings; the reverse impressed French maker's details in recessed square bearing the letters 'JC' with an unrecognisable symbol in between, this possibly for the jeweller 'Jaymes & Cie, 14 rue Charlot, Paris active around that time. Very good condition, no stress marks or damage to the enamel. An excellent example.
